The strongest catalyst for My Savior is the quiet, the unseen life I've lived. The one that nobody can fully understand. The one where I see myself hurt, abandoned, bruised, spit upon. The fallen knees-over and over and over and over again.
The death of my grandfather, holding onto his arms and wishing his spirit to return. The painful breaths of sickness for years and the belief that life was- at least for that moment-over. And then each time there came greater healing, more love, more breath, more understanding-more of me.
He has given me the greatest pieces of my soul, the pieces that were met with one of the greatest humans ever to live-my husband. My Savior is mine because he created me; He took me when broken and he built someone who never could have existed prior. He has redeemed me. He has borne my sorrows, paid for my iniquities. He has not once given up on me. Even the faintest cry, the one lying flat on a bathroom floor, the one who had everything taken--even self and all understanding--He has Redeemed me.
There is hope. He is the healer, the one who has taken all of my burdens, carries my cares, accepted my offering when I felt rejected. I will never be able to tell you what He means to me, it will never suffice. "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?"
I feel it everyday, I see it in the mirror. This is why I share my testimony whenever I get the opportunity- because I have been taken and held. His arms have clasped around me and has never let me go. And I will never forsake Him. I will never stop. Never.
Christ has done everything for me and continues to create such a beautiful tapestry of love in my life. He is the Deliverer, He is the Prince of Peace. He is my Savior-and He is yours.
I know that He lives and who can separate me from His love?-not tribulation, distress or persecution, or famine or nakedness, or peril or sword-Nay, in all these things I am more than conqueror through Him that loved me.
