I am happy to announce the beginning of what I hope is a community of people coming together to discuss their faith in Christ. I have always been blessed to be surrounded by phenomenal friends, and a few of us have teamed up to try and add some light to all of our lives on a daily basis. Our purpose is to encourage and invite everyone to have faith in Jesus Christ.
But honestly- this is why I, personally, need this blog. Life is difficult. Not just for some people. And not always caused by our own actions. Life is difficult. It just is. And instead of trying to focus on that, or grow envious of others, or be concerned with how many "likes" my picture received, or anything else I may worry about when I get online, I want time every day to remember that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me. I am His daughter. He cares about me. And ultimately, everything will be ok.
Peace. That is what I want. And that is what I feel so many of us are searching after. Obviously the messages shared here will not all be the same, but I can guarantee that while reading them you will feel more peaceful. If not because of what was said, because you are taking time out of your day to think about and remember things that are most important. I want to add to those good things. All of these women want to add to these good things and we want you to add to these good things as well. We are obviously just getting started, but we feel great about the direction we are going and would love your support.
Today, my greatest wish for you is to feel peace. Even for just a moment. Allow the peace of the gospel of Jesus Christ to fill those parts of you that need it most. Act! Read you scriptures, say your prayers, talk and listen to God. Do not allow the troubles of the world to continue to weigh you down. And please keep coming back for those daily reminders.
Now let's round things off with quite possibly my favorite scripture. Or at least the one that I recite to myself most often :)
John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
